Parlor Games: Parallax explores themes of knowledge, discovery and chance by drawing inspiration from philosophy, theater, circus sideshows, parlor tricks, science labs and cabinets of curiosities.

Porcelain, glass and felt objects, wooden tables, video projection, video loops on two monitors, photographs of artists' and scientists' workspaces, black drawing paper, clay, and kaolin drawing sticks.

In response to a call, artists and scientists from around the world contributed over 80 snapshot photographs of their workspaces. Photos are hung on the wall and scattered on the makeshift worktable for browsing. Participants drew selected objects from the photos on the wall, while other participants made clay objects based on the drawings.
