Still / Here and Mothering series was made during artist residency at the Museum of Glass, Tacoma.
Burst and Follow series is part of an ongoing research collaboration of with Professor Sara Billey of UW Math. This collaboration is supported by a Bergstrom Art-Science Award.
Burst and Follow
Experimental algorithm-generated pattern using the concepts derived from mathematical model of cellular automata. Each vessel is a unique variation based on the rules applied to the growth of the pattern.

3D printed porcelain and mold-blown glass. For each pair, the mold is taken from the same form, inflated by breath and stretched further.
